Dr. Kade Carthel

Dr. Kade Carthel is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist who has been practicing in Amarillo since 2017. A Gruver, Texas native, he attended Abilene Christian University as an undergraduate before completing medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock and Amarillo. Dr. Carthel completed his medical residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital. He then completed both his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowships at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he served as Chief Fellow before joining the group at CCA. Dr. Carthel specializes in complex coronary disease, peripheral arterial disease, and structural heart disease including ASD/PFO closure and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures.
